Wereldmarkt voor pallets – Vraag naar kunststof pallets groeit het hardst tot 2017

Worldwide sales of pallets are projected to climb nearly 5% per annum through 2017, according to the Freedonia report World Pallets. Demand in value terms will grow 7% per annum, stimulated by overall increases in unit sales, as well as by a shift toward higher-priced plastic pallets.
Demand for plastic pallets will grow the fastest of any product type in most national markets through 2017. Users will increasingly select these pallets over other types because they can be easily cleaned. They also last for many years and are resistant to damage during normal use. However, wood pallets will continue to dominate product sales in most areas, representing nine-tenths of 2017 global unit demand.
