Wereldmarkt metalen blikken voor voeding en drank 2016-2020

In a new report Technavio's analysts forecast the global food and beverage metal can market to grow at a CAGR of around 3% between 2016 and 2020. The high recycling rate of metal cans is promoting the usage of these products among various suppliers. North America is the largest market, accounting for 35% of the total market share.
Beverage cans dominate the market, occupying around 73% of the total market share. Much of this segment’s growth can be attributed to the increase in the consumption of energy and sports drinks. Moreover, “on-the-go” beverages have gained huge demand among consumers owing to their busy lifestyles (Persbericht Technavio, 27 december 2015).
