According to a new report by Grand View Research, the global insulated packaging market is expected to be valued at USD 18.3 billion by 2025. Rigid packaging emerged as the largest segment of the market, by type in 2016 and is predicted to be valued at USD 7.32 billion by 2025. Pharmaceutical is anticipated to be the fastest-growing segment by application, ascending at a CAGR of 5.5% over the next 8 years.
Asia Pacific is anticipated to progress at a CAGR of 5.8% over the forecast period. Macroeconomic factors such as increasing middle class, rising disposable income, education and rapid urbanization are driving the growth in the region (Persbericht Grand View Research, oktober 2017).
