In a new report Technavio's analysts forecast the global corrugated box packaging market to grow at a CAGR of 5% between 2016 and 2020. The increased demand from the e-commerce industry is driving the growth of this market where effective packaging is fast becoming one of the key business requirements.
The growth of the processed food industry is expected to contribute to the market growth during the forecast period. The Americas dominate the market, accounting for 41% of the overall market share. The US is the largest market for corrugated boxes in this region due to the increase in cross-border trade and huge demand for online shopping (Persbericht Technavio, 8 januari 2016).
