Wereldmarkt glasverpakkingen voor voedsel en dranken

In a new report Technavio's analysts forecast the global glass packaging market for food and beverages to grow at a CAGR of around 3% between 2015 and 2019. Rise in the consumption of beer worldwide and growing demand from APAC are expected to boost the volume sales during the forecast period. Geographically, APAC leads the global market, accounting for around 37% of the overall revenue. Rapid urbanization in APAC countries and rise in the demand for convenience beverages products adds to the growth of this region.
Preference for PET plastic bottles and metal cans due to their lightweight nature lowers the demand for glass packaging products (Persbericht Technavio, 19 november 2015).
