VS: wetsvoorstel zou identificatie van chemische ingrediënten in schoonmaakmiddelen verplicht maken
On 11 April 2014 a bill was introduced to require producers of cleaning products to place information on their product labels on the chemical ingredients used as well as publish the ingredients on their web sites.
HR 4476, which would create the Cleaning Product Right to Know Act of 2014, defines a cleaning product as “any product used primarily for commercial, domestic, or institutional cleaning purposes, including an air care product, automotive product, disinfectant, and polish or floor maintenance product.” The chemical ingredients would need to be listed in descending order of predominance in the product by weight (State Recycling Laws Update, 28 april 2014).
