VS: Californische OEHHA publiceert ge-update lijst van chemicaliën voor biomonitoring
The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) has published an updated, 8-page "designated chemicals" list for the California Environmental Contaminant Biomonitoring Program. The chemicals are grouped into categories (like “metals” and “pesticides”); some are included in more than one category.
Created in 2006, the program analyzes the presence/concentration of designated chemicals in residents' blood and urine samples to determine how human exposure to these chemicals changes over time and whether some population groups have high exposures. It reports its findings to the California State Legislature (Recycling Laws International, 7 maart 2014).
