Verpakkingsinnovaties stuwen groei wereldmarkt verse melk

In a new report Technavio's analysts forecast the global fresh milk market to grow at a CAGR of more than 3% between 2016 and 2020. There has been an increase in per capita milk consumption in recent years. This has pushed manufacturers to extend their product ranges and introduce new flavors. Moreover, vendors are also coming up with various packaging innovations, aimed at increasing the shelf life of fresh milk, which will boost revenues in the market in the coming years.
The Americas dominate the market, occupying around 35% of the total market share. Rising population and increasing production of milk are contributing to the growth in the Americas (Persbericht Technavio, 18 april 2016).
