Verbeteren duurzaamheid van product-verpakkingscombinaties

On 26 January 2017 Lieke van der Steen held a speech entitled ‘Facilitating enhancement of the sustainability of product-packaging combinations’ as part of her master assignment. In her research she identifies the steps that can be taken in order to accelerate enhancement of the sustainability of certain product-packaging combinations.
Some of the factors hindering producers and importers of packaged products are: insufficient knowledge of sustainability, and not knowing when and how to address sustainability. She developed a design support tool, the SVRP-model, that informs producers and importers about the sustainability of product-packaging combinations (Website Universiteit Twente).
