Scandinavië: jaarlijkse kosten hormoonontregelende stoffen
According to a 92-page report released on 17 November 2014 by the Nordic Council of Ministers (which represents Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland), endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) are costing European Union countries an estimated 4.5 billion kroner (approximately $7.6 Million USD) in health care expenses and lost worker productivity annually. The report is titled, "The Cost of Inaction - A socioeconomic analysis of costs linked to effects of endocrine disrupting substances on male reproductive health." The Nordic Council of Ministers forwarded its report to the European Commission in an effort to spur action on regulatory development (State Recycling Laws Update, 21 november 2014).
