Noorwegen stelt herwinningsdoelstellingen afval vast voor 2014-2015

The Norwegian Environmental Directorate has announced FY 2014-15 packaging waste collection targets for 11 packaging recovery schemes. They range from 64% to 95% (the Directorate classifies recycling and energy recovery as recovery). While all 11 schemes exceeded current EU packaging recycling targets, four schemes missed FY 2013-14 Norwegian national targets, which are more ambitious. The member companies in those four schemes will see their environmental (packaging) tax rates increase this new fiscal year. Member companies in schemes achieving a minimum 95% recovery rate are exempt from the environmental tax for the next fiscal year (Recycling Laws International, 11 juli 2014).
