EU: Workshop over veilig gebruik van chemicaliën in het MKB: "SMEs: time to update your CLP labels!"

On 16 September 2014, the European Commission and the European Chemicals Agency organise a workshop that aims to address the challenges faced by companies and in particular SMEs to comply with the new rules for classification, labelling and packaging of mixtures introduced by the CLP Regulation (Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Hazardous Chemicals).
The event will bring together stakeholders such as industry associations, business support organisations, trade unions, and consumer associations, as well as competent authorities and the national CLP helpdesks. The event is free to attend, but advanced registration is required (subject to confirmation) (ECHA e-News, 18 juni 2014).
