Estland: Ontwerpverordening naar Europese Commissie gestuurd met wijzigingen voor statiegeldsymbool

A deposit symbol informs the customer of the addition of the packaging deposit to the price of the product and whether it is reusable or single-use packaging. The purpose of the draft regulation is to change the symbol affixed to reusable glass and plastic packaging.
The regulation concerned also establishes the description and image of the deposit symbol of OÜ Eesti Pakendipakend. The purpose is to change the marking in order to make reusable glass and plastic packaging clearly differentiable from single-use packaging. It has been found that packaging receivers have difficulties with the differentiation between the markings. The Standstill period ends on 29 September 2014.
