EC vernieuwt online informatie voedselverspilling

The European Commission services' have updated their website dedicated to "food waste". The section on EU actions has been expanded to refer to recent regulatory developments (Commission legislative proposal on waste targets including non-binding food waste reduction objectives) and to include the establishment of a new Member States expert group on Food Losses and Food Waste.
The resources library section has also been updated and now includes a new section on food donation guidelines available in certain Member States, published on the website in order to facilitate sharing of information/best practice in this area (EC Food Safety Nieuwsbrief, 25 november 2014).
