AU: Ontwerpverordening inzameling huishoudverpakkingen

At the end of October 2014 Austria sent a draft order to the European Commission laying down laying down the overall collection quotas for household packaging (Compensation Order Household Packaging 2015). The standstill period ends on 29 January 2015.
From 2015, with a view to increasing the responsibility of manufacturers, the compensation for the collection and recycling systems for household packaging shall be increased by the packaging collected with mixed municipal waste. The manufacturer responsibility for packaging placed on the market shall extend to all packaging, such that compensation for the packaging collected jointly with residual waste shall be paid.
